New York, NY – September 19, 2011—Today hip hop emcee PremeDaPrez debuted the video to his club banging freestyle “BK On My Back” to anticipating fans.

The follow up track to his highly successful “BK Back” single, B.O.M.B features fellow Brooklyn rapper Spaz-O in a club performance setting in Shot in Nocturnal Night Club in BK. A Brooklyn anthem of sort, Preme celebrates BK pride with close family and friends by paying homage to the city that raised him. Directed by reputable director / producer Gene Patterson and edited by Preme himself, B.O.M.B showcases Flatbush bred rapper in his natural setting.

When discussing the concept behind his video shoot Preme states "I really wanted it involve the people I love and have supported me in life and in music. There aren't any extras who were involved with the shoot. Everyone in the video I know, love and appreciate personally. No gimmicks. Just real friends."

He puts his own twist on the track, other than everyone else whose been bringing back rappers, hes talking about brining back the homies!

Braggin Rightz 5th Annual Basketball Tournament

IMMEDIATE RELEASE
New York, NY—June 7th 2011, Brooklyn’s own Team Showoff is bringing back their annual Braggin Rightz basketball tournament with plenty of fun for family and friends.

On June 25th TS will host its fifth annual Braggin Rightz event to take place in Power Playground, entrance located at Ave N between Utica Ave and East 49th. An event for the community, teams from both Brooklyn and Queens consisting of promoters, DJs and event planners will battle it out for the championship title. In partnership with Showbucks TV, a popular video production company accredited for bringing exclusive interviews and visuals to the Tri-State area.

In the past four years TS have attracted up to 700 to 1000 patrons who have participated in making this event a success and this year will be no exception. “We encourage families to come out with their children to enjoy the festivities going on as well as food and refreshments. With the help of the Slowbucks.tv we are expecting additional spectators on top of our regular crowd,” stated the group.

To conclude the fun filled day, TS will hosts their annual Trophy Presentation after party at Cascades located at 1055 East 45th Street, Brooklyn, NY, 11203. While the tournament itself is free the after party is a ticket only event.

Team Showoff is a group which consists of DJs and Event Coordinators who have been planning events all around Brooklyn. Gonna take a stab at moving this blog to Wordpress. It appears to have more functionality. I guess you will see how I upgrade it if you happen to check it out. Also contemplating moving to my own domain name. right now its between ncrdbl.com (incredible without the vowels), thecrdbl.com, in-crdbl.com, or something of that sort. crdbl.com seems to be taken by some Australian company till like July so I'll think more about what i wanna do.

WHAT? Sony - UMG Swap!

It jus sounds to weird to reword for myself, but this is for anyone who follows the music industry itself, not just particular artist. I took this straight from UHTN because they worded it so well.

First, out of nowhere, Media Decoder revealed that Barry Weiss, head honcho for Sony Entertainment’s RCA/Jive division is set to takeover Universal Music Group. Now the NYPost.com has learned that UMG’s top gun Doug Morris is slated to shake things up over at Sony Music Entertainment.

While many of us are attempting to figure out what to make of this unexpected executive swap over the last several days, we’re also going to have a grand ol time trying to figure out how in the hell will Morris play big man on campus at Sony’s Headquarters with his $ 10 million UMG contract running until 2013.

Morris, who has held court at UMG for the last 15 years, will replace Sony’s music chief Rolf Schmidt-Holtz when he decides to step down in the next couple of weeks. However, sources close to the story have yet to reveal when Morris will take control of the Sony ship if in fact the deal goes through.

So, what does this mean? Well, my UHTN counterpart Mel believes the logistics behind Doug’s situation are a conflict of interest. But the move could possibly mean a huge merger is in the works between Sony and UMG? Again, only time will tell. I have a feeling 2011 is going to be one HELL of a year.

Transformers 3

The third installment in the Transformers series, is titled "Transformers: Dark of the Moon". I saw the trailer and thought it would of been a prequel, but its most of the beginning I guess. Shia LaBeouf, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, John Turturro and Ramón Rodríguez are set to reprise their starring roles. However it was announced that Megan Fox would not be returning and Sam's new love interest will be played by Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. (catch her pic on the right, shes also a Victoria's Secret model). Filming was officially completed on November 9, 2010, and will hit theaters July 1, 2011.

BGR has a video of the BlackBerry PlayBook in action and it looks pretty smooth. The video shows off the Playbook's app multitasking, the general user interface and answers questions on how it'll work with current BlackBerrys.

Black and Yellow

I haven't listened to much of Wiz Kalifa, but I really like the "Black and Yellow" video. Looks like he's having alot of fun in it.. Thats whats up. A lot of the people on my twitter timeline seem to have been taking a liking to him since his OJ and Kush Mixtape. LOL they are all smokers, I'm not but this still makes me want to listen to it.
